Signing up to the BuiltGrid network allows like-minded builders and suppliers to be united for the purpose of unlocking efficiencies for all and ensures the delivery of builder projects on time and within budget. Builders list their projects with job inclusions, quality, and service features they require to complete their projects. This is followed by a review of quote comparisons and project partner selections. Follow the steps outlined below to sign-up and unlock the potential that BuiltGrid offers.

Step 1

Select Builder
Complete name and business email
Create a password
Select I agree with terms and conditions. More detailed information is available by clicking on terms and conditions.
Select Create Account to go to the next step of the signup process

Enter the organisations ABN and select Search ABN. The trading name will appear in the field below.

A Project combines key job categories together to outline required work in each area and allow suppliers visibility to provide an accurate quotation. Providing detailed individual project inclusions provides visibility and efficiencies to your supply partners. Listing the Project and Job Inclusion detail is the most important component of the project registration process. Taking the time to provide suppliers and trades with all the detail required to complete a competitive quote will result in a better result for the builder and their supply partners.

There are six steps to list a project, these steps include Project, Docs, Jobs, Inclusions, Suppliers, and Listing. Follow the steps outlined below to list a Project in BuiltGrid and have BuiltGrid send notice to selected suppliers.

Builder: Project Listing

To view projects, select Projects from the left-hand menu. This will direct users to the projects page which includes a list of all added projects that can be edited and searched. This screen will also be where users add new Projects.

Once the initial BuiltGrid setup is completed, it's time to add all suppliers into the application to make it easy to manage all supplier quotes, orders and call-ups in one location.

Builder: Adding Suppliers/Trades

There are two ways to invite suppliers to the Supplier Connections list in BuiltGrid. This will ensure that any existing suppliers can be added to future projects. Bulk Invite Suppliers to add all suppliers at once or invite suppliers individually. Follow the steps for each option below:

Bulk Invite Suppliers/Trades

Navigate to the Suppliers menu item on the left-hand side menu
To get the fastest result, click the Bulk Supplier Invite button on the top right-hand side of the screen
Click the hyperlink download this excel template to download a bulk invite template
A template will be downloaded to the device to fill out the supplier details

Fill out the template spreadsheet with all the preferred suppliers currently utilised

| Users can export the data from any current estimating or accounting software, look at their knowledge base or support articles on how to export these lists

Supplier: Managing Quotes

The Quotes page will have a record of all jobs request that have been sent from Builders. In this page contains job details and allows users to decline, accept and upload quote information in one place. Quote request will automatically be imported into supplier quote page once the project has been approved for the builder.

The quotes overview page has the option to search the quote list at the top of the page, key project information such as the name of the builder that the quote request has been sent from, project address details, how many homes and individual jobs the supplier has been invited to, a tally of how many jobs the supplier has declined, accepted and submitted for as well as job status. An outline of the project status stages is outlined below:

Once the initial BuiltGrid setup is completed, it's best to complete all Business Information Setup. Follow the helpful guide below to set up the business information correctly.

Supplier: User Profile

Setting up the user profile is important to help identify team members and roles for access within the BuiltGrid application and to direct Supplier communications for specific questions.

Select the user name at the top right of the Dashboard
Select My Profile within the popup window
Upload a profile photo

|| This photo will appear at the top right of your dashboard and be used in future activities within the system, such as uploading a quote and communicating with suppliers. For best results use a square, professional photo.

Confirm name, email, phone number and the user role in the business are all correct. If not, make the changes required.
Select Save Changes to confirm updates
Select Dashboard in the left-hand menu to exit the User Profile page
